Discover Lake Iseo and its beauty

Lake Iseo has unique characteristics, such as its three islands: the beautiful Montisola, the largest inhabited lake island in Europe which rises in the centre of the lake to 600 metres above sea level, the island of Loreto in the north and that of San Paolo in the south, which like two sentries seem to watch over the larger island.

Centro Nautico Franciacorta offers you a fantastic tour thanks to which you can see these pearls of the lake from close up. 

We will take you next to the private island of Loreto, with its enchanting neo-Gothic castle dating back to 1910 and we will circumnavigate the private island of San Paolo where the presence of a Cluniac monastery is historically documented around the year 1000.

Finally we will take you to Montisola by which, we feel sure, you will be charmed, as was the famous international artist Christo, who right here decided to create his installation “The Floating Piers” in 2016.

The tour we propose lasts about three hours during which you will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will reveal every secret and curiosity about our beautiful lake and its history. A stop at Montisola is planned to taste the typical local products and, after returning at the end of the day, we shall be pleased to offer you a sip of our renowned Franciacorta wine.
